Mission Statement
The U.S. Naval Academy's Center for Teaching and Learning was created in January 1996 as a part of the Faculty Enhancement Center. The Center's mission is to support faculty in providing the best possible academic instruction to the Brigade and to cultivate an institutional climate which promotes high quality student learning. In addition, the Center provides programs to assist faculty in their
scholarship of teaching and learning.

Designed to support faculty in providing the best possible academic instruction to the Brigade and to cultivate an institutional climate which promotes high quality student learning, the Teaching and Learning center is directed by Dr. Rae Jean Goodman.
