Tips and Assistance

Grants.gov and Application Tips
FY 2006 PIRC applicants will be required to submit their applications through Grants.gov. Potential applicants are encouraged to complete the Grants.gov registration process as soon as possible. It is not necessary to wait for the closing date notice in order to do this registration.

Tips for submitting applications electronically through Grants.gov:

  1. Begin the Grants.gov registration process as soon as possible. Register Early.
  2. Download the Pure Edge viewer from Grants.gov.
  3. If you do not have Microsoft Word, download the Word viewer from Grants.gov.
  4. Verify on Grants.gov that registration is complete and that your AOR status is Approved if you are the submitter.
  5. When available, download and review the Application Instructions from Grants.gov.
  6. When available, download the Application Package from Grants.gov.
