Developed Camping Areas at Georgetown Lake

Cedar Breaks, Jim Hogg , and Russell Parks are open year around from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm seven days a week. The entrance gates are locked at 10:00 pm for our customer's security. Exit-only gates are supplied and are open 24 hours. These parks are known for their family atmosphere and abundant wildlife. Park Attendants and Park Hosts reside in the parks to serve our customers. There is a 14 day camping limit. Extensions for this rule may be available during the off-season. Visitors who desire to stay longer during the off-season may apply for 14 day extensions with a 120 day limit. Campers with extensions are required to change sites every 28 days. Check out time is 2:00 pm. Check in time is 3:00 pm or earlier if the site is clean and available. Fee information is available here.

Blue Line

 

Cedar Breaks Park has 64 campsites with water and electric hookups. Each site has an approximate 55' back in parking pad, covered picnic table, firering, and grill. Single sites accommodate up to 8 people per site with two pieces of camping equipment. Campers are limited to two vehicles per campsite pad.  A $2.00 vehicle fee will be charged per extra vehicle past the limit and overflow parking is provided. A dump station is provided for the disposal of wastewater and the restrooms have hot showers and flush toilets.

Jim Hogg Park has 148 sites with water and electric hookups. Each site has an approximate 55' back in parking pad, covered table, firering, and grill. Single sites accommodate up to 8 people per site with two pieces of camping equipment. Double sites accomodate up to 16 people per site. Campers are limited to two vehicles per single and four vehicles per double campsite pad. A $2.00 vehicle fee will be charged per extra vehicle and overflow parking is provided.

Sites 19,30,39,50,60,69,90,102,110,140 are double sites with covered shelters. Sites 8,75, 80, 122, and 132 are double sites with screened in shelters. Sites 79 - 148 are only available from 1 March to 30 November. A dump station is provided for the disposal of wastewater and the restrooms have hot showers and flush toilets.

Russell Park has 27 sites without water or electric hookups. Five of these sites are screened in shelters which contain two sets of bunkbeds without matresses. Drinking water is available in the park.
