Russell Park is a highly visited day use park. The swim beach area features a washed pebble beach with a protective floating pipe delineator. No lifeguards are on duty. No pets are allowed in the swim beach area. There are 10 shelters available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park is open April 1 - September 30 from 6:00 am to dusk. Shoreline swimming, while not prohibited, is discouraged due to unknown water depths and underwater hazards. Please watch your children at all times. Wear a life preserver if you do not swim or while operating watercraft.
