Corpus Christi, TX -- The Division of Emergency Management (DEM), Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) want to help those who were affected by the tornadoes, severe weather and flooding that began on October 24.

The Individuals and Households Program (IHP) can assist those in need by providing housing assistance and/or financial assistance with other needs.

"We realize the anguish of those who have been displaced from their homes or lost personal property," State Coordinating Officer Duke Mazurek said. "Help is only a phone call away."

If you suffered damages to your home, call the FEMA registration line at 800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 800-462-7585 for the speech or hearing impaired. You may call from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week. Each situation is unique and is handled on a case-by-case basis.
