When the line reopens on Sunday, Dec. 26, the new hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The line will again be closed on Friday, Dec. 31, 2004 and Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005 for the New Year’s holiday. It will be available again beginning Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005.

Even though the application line is closed on Fridays and Saturdays over the holiday period, Floridians may continue to register for assistance online. Those with access to a computer can enter the FEMA website at http://www.fema.gov. Look for and click on the words “Register for Disaster Assistance Online” located at the top-right side of the page in a green box.
