Ohio Tornado Cleanup Begins

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Local officials report cleanup is well underway in Ohio following last Friday's tornadoes and severe weather. The storm-related death toll in Ohio remains at four. Hamilton County officials report as many as 900 homes suffered some level of damage. Damage assessments indicate most losses will be covered by insurance.

The American Red Cross has disaster teams on site to provide clothing, food and crisis counseling. There is no report of ongoing sheltering in the state.

FEMA's regional office in Chicago (Region V) remains in contact with state emergency management officials and will continue to monitor the situation.
