Severe Weather Could Hit Central US Today

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Weather Service (NWS) reports parts of Arkansas, Missouri and Illinois are the focus of possible severe weather, including tornadoes, for the next 24 hours. This morning, the system is still to the west of these areas and is producing severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas.
