» More Information on Oklahoma Severe Winter Storm

Oklahoma City, OK -- On Dec.28, 2000 President Clinton designated Oklahoma eligible for federal emergency funds to reimburse state, tribal and local governments, as well as certain private non--profit organizations for assistance with debris removal and emergency services, (emergency protective measures and essential utility restoration), as a result of the severe winter storms that began on Christmas Day.

Entities who are eligible for the federal Public Assistance Program need to submit a Request for Public Assistance to the state.
