Olympia, WA -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Washington State Emergency Management Division (WEMD) have scheduled a federal/state briefing on disaster recovery assistance programs.

Federal, state and voluntary agency representatives will discuss programs activated under President Bush's disaster declaration following the Feb. 28 Nisqually earthquake.

In addition to officials from FEMA and WEMD, agencies expected to participate include the American Red Cross, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other government and volunteer agencies.
