Kid 1: Eat your fruits and veggies
Kid 2: Brush your teeth
Kid 3: Put on a coat, it’s cold outside
Announcer: When it comes to looking out for the family, no one does a better job than mom.
Kid 4: Did you finish your homework?
Kid 5: Wash your hands before you eat
Announcer: So mom, have you heard about MRSA? Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus is a type of staph bacteria that is resistant to certain antibiotics and may cause skin and other infections. The good news is, the earlier it’s caught and treated, the better the outcome. So, if anyone in your family develops a bump that looks red, swollen, full of pus -- or just plain infected -- cover it with a bandage and contact a healthcare professional – especially if there’s also a fever.
