On November 3, 2003, Dr. Michael Fox, the veterinarian who writes the Animal Doctor column for the Washington Post, gave a lecture titled "Animal Emotions" in the Mumford Room of the James Madison Building of the Library of Congress. The lecture, which was sponsored by the Science, Technology and Business Division, was free and open to the public.
