But the current approach seems rather short sided to me when we take into account metasearches and it illustrates that we did not learn from the past. Lets take the world as it is and not as we want it to be. With the current approach people will start putting all kind of non-dc garbage in the dc- record because that will be the only schema they recognize from explain. And nobody minds because they know that the client's xslt just ignores the garbage. And for dc- variants they will invent other ways out of the recordSchema scope. We will not have control if others find easier ways to do the things that we did not make easy enough. Given this warning, I will keep silent on this issue. Theo
