Dededo, Guam -- Disaster officials announced that a Guam/FEMA local Helpline is now available for individuals who have already registered through the FEMA 800 teleregistration number.

The Guam Helpline has been established to assist individuals, for whom English may be their second language, with questions pertaining to their disaster application. The number to call is 633-9820. Assistance is available in four languages: English, Chamorro, Chuukese, and Tagalog.

Hours of operation are:

Daily 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Officials note that individuals can use the Helpline, in most cases, to update, change or check on the status of their application for FEMA assistance.
