Figure 6 shows the percent distribution of reported AIDS cases by population size from 1994 through 2006; the distribution has remained fairly consistent over that period. In MSAs of >= 500,000, the distribution from 1994 to 2006 has fallen slightly from 1994 to 2006. In MSAs of 50,000 to 499,999, the distribution of reported AIDS cases has risen slightly from 1994 to 2006. In nonmetropolitan areas, the distribution has risen slightly from 1994 to 2006.
