Jul 3, 2006 - Proposed rule 7 CFR Part 1421 governing the Marketing Assistance Loan Programs of the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) to no longer require a warehouse operator to execute a CCC storage agreement.
Jun 22, 2006 - Final rule 7 CFR Part 1423 revising the regulations covering the storage of commodities owned by the Commodity Credit Corporation.
Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) enters into Peanut Storage Agreements (PSA) with private individuals and companies to allow warehouse operators to store commodities owned by CCC or pledged as security to CCC for marketing assistance loans. See notice BCD-72 and BCD-30 for additional information.
Notice to the Trade BCD-73 (Aug 17, 2004) provides Updated Instructions for Preparing Warehouse Receipts, Proper Filing of the Farm Service Agency's (FSA) Form 1007; Restatement of Warehouse Operator's Duty Regarding Daily Position Record (DPR) Maintenance and the Issuance and Cancellation of Warehouse Receipts.

To be approved to store CCC-owned or loan peanuts, warehouse operators must:
- Submit an application to the Storage Contract Branch, Kansas City Commodity Office (KCCO).
When a warehouse is approved, CCC adds the warehouse to a List of Approved PSA Warehouses which is provided to local FSA offices. Producers must store commodities in warehouses on this listing to obtain warehouse-stored marketing assistance loans.
