Subject:      Using MARCXML?
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

[Please forgive the cross posting.] Has anyone out there chosen MARCXML for descriptive metadata for their digital collections/repositories? We are consider using MARCXML rather than DC for textual collections where we need to provide analytical access to journal articles, book reviews, etc. We're looking at the pros and cons right now for our descriptive metadata. We're already fully committed to using METS for our structural metadata.
