Sportsmans
Area Launch
Concrete, 16 foot wide. From Route 839, Dayton, Pennsylvania,
make no turns at the intersection of 839 and Main Street.
Continue through the intersection past the Dayton Bank and
across the railroad tracks and passing the Barrett Lumber
Yard. Making no turns, proceed approximately 3.5 miles on
SR 1023 to the gravel parking area and launch ramp. Distance
from the Sportsman's Ramp to Mahoning Dam is approximately
one mile downstream.

Road Access Area
Earth. From Hermitage, Pennsylvania, go north on Route 18
to Route 518. Going west on 518, proceed to Mercer Avenue
(first traffic light). Continue through town, cross river.
Right onto Tamarack Drive, right (north) onto Route 846. Left
at the first road past the Bayview ORV area (Hartford Road).
Hartford Road Access is the first right. Distance is approximately
five miles from Hermitage.

Mill Covered Bridge (car-top access)
From Hermitage, follow Route 18 north to the Reynolds Industrial
Park exit. Turn east (right) onto Kidd's Mill Road, Covered
Bridge Park is on the right, just after crossing the Shenango
River. Canoe launch available. Distance from Hermitage is
approximately 8 miles.

Paved. From Hermitage, Pennsylvania, go north on Route 18
to Route 518. Turn west (right) onto Mercer Avenue at the
traffic light. Turn north (right) from Mercer Avenue onto
High Street and follow signs. From Hermitage, the distance

(right) onto Route 258, entrance to Marina is 1/4 mile on

After crossing the causeway, take the Birchwood Drive Exit.
South on Route 18, and turn right (west) onto West Lake Drive.
