Subject: Question (MARC field for binding Info)

Is there a MARC field for binding info? If not, where will be the logical place to display such data? Should each library use the local fields for such data? The scenario is that some publishers put out bound volumes, and most libraries would just order the bound volumes, in stead of having the loose issues prepared and sent to the bindery. When doing binding prep or inspection, with such data provided in the Bib recds, there will be less time and manpower wasted in physically inspecting the shelves to gather the info.
