Advance the usefulness of surveillance information at the Federal level for prevention of occupational illnesses, injuries, and hazards.
Strengthen the capacity of State health departments and other State agencies to conduct occupational surveillance.
Strengthen surveillance of high-risk industries and occupations, and of populations at high risk, including special populations.
