Known as H.Rep.No. 80-1034, this report accompanied the bill that became the 1948 Articles of War, commonly known as the Elston Act, Pub. L. No. 80-759, 62 Stat. 604 (1948). This report was issued on July 22, 1947, by the House Armed Services Committee, Chairman Charles Elston, after whom the final legislation was named. (Library of Congress Call Number UB500.A3 1947 and OCLC Number 61253310)
