On-site Daycare
Milwaukee County, Wisconsin

Since March 2005, the Vliet Street assistance office in Milwaukee County has had an on-site child day care center for customers who have children between 3 and 12 years old. Customers can use the center at no cost during business hours when they have an appointment in the building. The YMCA Drop-In Child Care Center is open from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, M-F. All parents must complete an enrollment form annually and use a daily usage card for every visit. Milwaukee County was able to use Child Care Administration funding for set-up costs. .

The availability of daycare for clients allows employees to conduct business with parents and caregivers without disruptions from children. Customers are happy to have a safe, friendly environment to drop off children at no cost while being served in the building.

Suggestion: Use a nationally accredited child care provider.
