Marketing and Regulatory Programs Business Services (MRPBS)

The Marketing and Regulatory Programs Business Services unit of USDA's Marketing and Regulatory Programs (MRP) provides resource management and administrative services to support the objectives of the three MRP agencies--the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), and the Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA).

Our employees provide administrative support services in the areas of budget, finance, human resources, information technology, procurement, property management, and related administrative services. Our primary responsibilities are:

  • Developing administrative management policy and procedures 
  • Implementing and operating administrative servicing systems 
  • Providing administrative support to agency units and programs
  • Evaluating agency administrative systems
