It currently has a membership of 56 states and governments, including the following African countries: Benin, Burkina, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, CAR, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, DRC, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Mauritania, Niger, Rwanda, Sao Tome, Senegal, Seychelles, Tchad, and Togo.
