The African and Middle Eastern Reading Room functions as the primary public access point for the African and Middle Eastern Division. Housed in the division are materials in a variety of vernacular scripts, such as Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Georgian, Hebrew, Persian, Turkish, and Yiddish.
