A listing of Macedonian portals and websites that provide links to resources relating to education. Extensive lists of colleges and universities are available through such portals such as BRAINTRACK which links to universities; and General Education Online. The University of Oulu, in Finland, provides a listing of the Best Indices of Colleges and Universities World-wide.

The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education, produces the ERIC database, which contains more than 1.2 million citations going back to 1966. More than 100,000 full-text non-journal documents (issued since 1993) are available in .pdf format.

Macedonian Collections in the British Library (http://www.bl.uk/reshelp/findhelpregion/europe/macedonia/macedonian/macedonian.html)
The British Library has good collections of 19th and 20th-century academic publications, historical material, literature, ethnography and the arts form Macedonia. Most significant Macedonian authors are represented in the Library's holdings. An energetic acquisitions policy in the past and present has led to a very good collection of books, periodicals and newspapers from Macedonia. Special attention is currently being devoted to the Balkan Crisis and to the problems of political change in Macedonia after Tito's Yugoslavia, covering the issues of civil wars, genocide, ethnic cleansing, human rights, refugees, war crimes, and peace conferences and Macedonia's involvement in them.

The National and University Library "St. Kliment Ohridski" is the national library of The Republic of Macedonia. It has the richest collection of scientific and scholarly books in the Republic of Macedonia. WWW OPAC, an online public access catalogue, provides online access to library's catalogue. The OPAC which is used, is COBISS/OPAC and is supported by the COBISS software, developed by IZUM, Maribor.
