Provides a set of preliminary data that describe the environment in Norway. Notes that these environmental indicators reflect the state or development of significant aspects of the natural environment, the causes of these changes, and society's response to them. Includes information on climate change, acid rain, biodiversity and other indicators as reported by the Global Resource Information Database Center at Arendal, Norway (GRID-Arendal). Data is available in English or Norwegian language versions, or on a diskette for users without access to the Internet. Last updated May 1997.
