Guide to Canadian Political Science Resources
These sources have been selected to assist researchers in locating current information about Canadian government institutions, their structure, the political system and the policy making process. The guide includes non-government sources in both print and electronic format (accessible via the Internet) but does not include provincial and local material.
Government of Canada/Gouvernement du Canada
Official federal government portals with links to the website of Office of the Prime Minister; direct links to the primary websites of Government of Canada departments and agencies; and links to other important governmental organizations in Canada. Government at a Glance includes links to the websites of the sovereign (Canada is a constitutional monarchy, and the King or Queen of Canada is also the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom), the Governor General, and other features.
Parliament of Canada/Parlement du Canada
Official website for the bicameral federal Parliament, with an A to Z index, biographical information about current legislators, access to debates and journals of the House and Senate, and other features. LEGISinfo is a free index to current legislative information (such as bill status and floor votes), maintained by the Library of Parliament. In English and French.

Collection of links to Canadian government and legal sites, maintained by the Law Library of Congress.
