H US Japan is a discussion network that is a member of H-Net Humanities and Social Sciences Online. It is an edited, international, nonpartisan list that provides scholars, graduate students, politicians, journalists, policy makers, researchers, professionals, and others a free daily forum to discuss US Japan relations in the context of economic, security, political, and diplomatic issues. It is a forum for exchanging opinions.

Founded in 1999, PMJS is an interdisciplinary forum for those doing research into earlier periods of Japanese art, culture, history, religion, and literature. A major project is a bibliography of translations from classical Japanese.

SSJ-Forum  (http://web.iss.u-tokyo.ac.jp/SSJForum/)
A project of the Institute for Social Science Research at the University of Tokyo, SSJ-Forum aims to stimulate dialogue among scholars researching social science, political economy, and history of Japan. The list enables scholars to communicate current research interests, discuss new publications, and share comments and tips on teaching courses in Japan.
