The Centro Virtual Cervantes provides extensive information about Spanish language and culture. Includes thousands of pages of cultural interest, material for learning Spanish, discussion forums, databases, reference works, a magazine on language and culture, and a specialized search engine, El Oteador (The Searcher), which provides direct access to many pages on language, literature, dictionaries, media, etc. Centro Virtual Cervantes is maintained by the Instituto Cervantes. Features the official Web site of the Association of Cultural Magazines of Spain. More than 90 cultural magazines published in Spain belong to this association. The section "Revistas Asociadas" provides access to information about the magazines either via a database (searchable only by name) or by browsing various subjects. For every magazine the following information is included: brief description of the magazine (objetives, vision, etc.), bibliographical information, contact information, and access to the table of contents of back and current issues. It also provides access to the database "Censo de revistas culturales de España" that allows to perform searches by name, place of publication, and subject.
