KISTI was founded through the merger of Korea Institute of Industry and Technology Information(KINITI) and Korea Research and Development Information Center(KORDIC) in January 2001. It plays a leading role in building the national infrastructure for knowledge and information by linking the high-performance research network with its supercomputers. Founded in 1960, KHSS is the Korean academy society for those who are interested in understanding the history of science, technology, and medicine. Links to information about the Society, journals, news and events, and more. In Korean.

Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) / 과학기술부  (http://www.most.go.kr/)
MOST has played a central role in overseeing national S&T policy and S&T affairs since its founding in 1967. MOST is mandated to provide central directions, planning, coordination, and evaluation of all S&T activities in the country; and to formulate S&T policies, programs, and projects, in support of national development priorities.
