Several launching ramps
are or may become unusable, while others may be marginal. Boaters are
encouraged to check the condition of their chosen ramp before attempting to
launch their boat.
In addition, some
areas, including ones that may be long distances from the shoreline, may
become very shallow or even come out of the water. Some of these areas have
been identified and marked with buoys, however, boaters should use caution
when operating anywhere on the lake
Boaters are
encouraged to operate their vessels at slower speeds, use depth finders,
closely assess the conditions around them, pay attention to buoys and
practice safe boating each time they’re on the water.
