   The Air University Library's Index to Military Periodicals is a subject index to significant articles, news items, and editorials from English language military and aeronautical periodicals. The Index contains citations since 1988 and is updated continuously.

Goddard Institute for Space Studies

   The Goddard Institute for Space Studies is a division of Goddard Space Flight Center's Earth Sciences Directorate. It was established in 1961 to do basic research in space and earth sciences in support of Goddard programs. GISS works cooperatively with area universities and research organizations.

Great Images in NASA (GRIN)

   Provided by NASA, this site catalogs over 1,000 high-quality photos related to space and space exploration. The collection may be browsed by subject or center or keyword-searched. The images are offered as thumbnails with three resolution options and text descriptions. There are some really neat images here, and the site is well worth a visit.

Johnson Space Center

   The Johnson Space Center, located in Houston, Texas, is the host center for the Space Station Program Office, and manages the development and operation of the space shuttle, a manned space transportation system developed for the United States by NASA.

Kennedy Space Center

   The Kennedy Space Center designs, constructs, operates, and maintains space vehicle facilities and ground support equipment for launch and recovery operations.

Marshall Space Flight Center

   The Marshall Center is one of NASA's largest centers, occupying 1,800 acres in Huntsville, Alabama. Its primary mission is to lead the Agency to develop and maintain space transportation and propulsion systems and conduct microgravity research.

NASA Glenn Research Center

   The NASA Glenn Research Center defines and develops advanced technology for high priority national needs. The work of the Center is directed toward new propulsion, power, and communications technologies for application to aeronautics and space. The Center has been designated as the NASA Lead Center for Aeropropulsion. It is NASA's Center of Excellence in turbomachinery. It also leads NASA's research in the microgravity science disciples of fluid physics, combustion science, and some materials science.

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

   The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is operated under contract by the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California, develops spacecraft and space sensors. It conducts mission operations and ground-based research in support of solar system exploration, earth science and applications, earth and ocean dynamics, space physics and astronomy, and life science and information systems technology.

NASA Langley Research Center

   NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia has been instrumental in shaping aerospace history for more than eight decades. Established in 1917 as the first national civil aeronautics laboratory, NASA Langley has become a world-class center for aeronautics, earth science, space technology, and structures and materials research.
