CONGRATULATIONS - UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS and UNITED STATES TRANSPORTATION COMMAND - 2004 Award Co-Winners for Supply Chain Operational Excellence --"Supply and Distribution Bridging the Gap between Warehouse and Warfighter" submitted by Marine Corps and " United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Deployment Distribution Operations Center (CDDOC): Bridging the Gap between Strategic and Theater Distribution" submitted by USTRANSCOM. Competition was fierce as all nomination packages for the 2004 Supply Chain Operational Excellence Award clearly demonstrated genuine process improvements and total focus on our primary mission - maximum support to the warfighter. It is essential that we cross-flow these innovative programs and processes throughout the department. All 2004 submissions have been posted below for your review. Logistics activities throughout the department are encouraged to review these submissions to benefit from the exceptional efforts of logisticians throughout the department.
