Vital Statistics of the United States, 1998
Volume I, Natality

This Internet release of Vital Statistics of the United States, 1998, Volume I, Natality, includes a total of 40 tables; a new table, 3-2, shows data for American Samoa, 1997-98 and Northern Marianas, 1998. Production of a CD-ROM containing these tables is currently in progress. Comparable tables for the 1997 data year were published in Vital Statistics of the United States, 1997, Volume I, Natality. The 1998 Natality Technical Appendix describes the data contained in the tables. Tables that include data only for 1980 and earlier years are updated in Births: Final Data for 1998.
