This is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineer managed lake, however the recreation areas and campgrounds are managed by New Mexico State Parks. Federal Recreation Passports for these areas are not accepted.

Directions & Lake History/Factoid
Factoid: Impounds the Pecos River approximately 121 mi E of Albuquerque. Follow direction signs through city of Santa Rosa to lake. The visitor center contains an interesting display on project area.
