Preservation Digital Reformatting Program
The goal of LC preservation reformatting is to preserve the Library's collections and offer broad public access to at-risk materials. Digital reformatting is considered one among many options for crafting an integrated preservation strategy for collection materials that is developed in partnership with Library curators and recommending officers, custodial divisions, and other Preservation Directorate staff.
