Secretary of Education Rod Paige welcomed an effort by USA Football, the umbrella group overseeing youth and amateur football, to promote reading.

Transcript: In football you have to learn how to run, you have to learn how to pass, you have to learn how to block and you have to learn how to tackle. So I want to see each of these young people in here become an expert in tackling—reading.
