COURSE TITLE: Navy JROTC III

PREPARATION:
Major Concepts/Content: The Navy JROTC III (Naval Science 3) course is designed to provide definition of management; the elements of the leadership process; practical exercise in the development of leadership skill; the role of cadets as leaders; the value of physical exercise and conditioning, and to learn about the basic elements and requirements for national security and their personal obligations as American citizens to contribute toward national security.
Major Instructional Activities: Instructional activities will include the following:
Major Evaluative Techniques: Cadets will take a formal test on each academic unit. Written and/or oral reports will be evaluated for content and form. In the leadership portion of the course, cadets will be evaluated on the performance of assigned duties, personal uniform inspections, marching ability, proper performance of military drill and ceremonies, and naval U.S. customs and courtesies.
