Practical Infection Control in the Dental Office
|
This file is the latest
updated dental infection control kit that answers many questions concerning infection
control in a dental setting, including sterilization, barrier protection, and management
of occupational exposures to bloodborne pathogens. The primary reference is a
self-instructional manual with exercises on proper infection control practices. It is
intended for use by dentists to train their office staff in proper infection control
practices, although the message is applicable to all. This training meets OSHA
requirements for such training. Margaret I. Scarlett, D.M.D., formerly with the Division
of Oral Health, National Center for Prevention Services, served as course developer.
