DATABASES AND INDEXES

AMS (American Meteorological Society) Journals Search -- This database enables searching across the journals of the AMS. While the Nimitz Library is not entitled to full-text electronic access to the majority of these journals via this interface, the majority are available from the Nimitz Library. Check the Nimitz Library Catalog and the Electronic Journals page for holdings.

Meteorological and Geoastrophysical Abstracts -- The most comprehensive database in the area of meteorology available via the Nimitz Library. Provides access to literature on meteorology, climatology, atmospheric chemistry and physics, physical oceanography, hydrology, glaciology, and related environmental sciences. (Should the above link not work for any reason try the mirror server.)

The Library also subscribes to a number of other Databases and Indexes that contain references to journal articles and other materials in the area of meteorology.
