by arrest, conviction, and incarceration. The Ministry provides seminars
in life skills, marriage education, domestic violence, and other services
in six adult and six juvenile correctional facilities in New Mexico.
The Ministry has provided programs in community settings and adult and
juvenile facilities for 11 years.
Project Description:
Wings Ministry will complete a comprehensive,
external audit and update client, referral, volunteer, and donor databases.
Staff will be trained on how to use the databases. The Ministry will
hire a community educator who will recruit 12 new families to participate
in life-skill training and mentoring programs. The community educator
will also produce outreach materials, including a brochure and monthly
publications to target couples who are attempting to establish, maintain,
or strengthen a marriage in the face of incarceration of a family member.
