Founded in 1998, the Indo-Pacific Conservation Alliance aims to study and conserve the native ecosystems of the tropical Indo-Pacific region, and to support traditional peoples in their stewardship of these globally significant natural resources. Its web site contains information about biodiversity, research, and programs in Indonesia, Melanesia, Polynesia and Micronesia.
