AT&T Foundation
Our Commitment
AT&T is committed to advancing education, strengthening communities and improving lives. Through its philanthropic initiatives and partnerships, AT&T and the AT&T Foundation supports projects that create opportunities, make connections and address community needs where we — and our customers — live and work. Supporting education has been a major focus for AT&T for more than a century, and education is our key philanthropy focus. We are driven to help students succeed — in school, in the workforce and in life.
AT&T Aspire
In April 2008, AT&T launched AT&T Aspire, a $100 million high school success and workforce readiness initiative. AT&T Aspire is the company's largest philanthropic commitment ever — and one of the largest-ever corporate commitments to address high school success and workforce readiness.
AT&T High School Success Special Grants Program
Under the AT&T Aspire initiative, the AT&T Foundation launched a new grant program focused on high school success for at-risk students. The program will direct funds to eligible school districts, school district foundations and nonprofit organizations across the country. 2008 grant recipients will be notified beginning mid-September 2008.
