Speaker Information


General Instructions

Selected speakers from BOTH Symposium East AND Symposium West may electronically submit their presentations to the track leads through FedCenter. 

The deadline for submitting your presentation for Symposium East is May 16, 2008.  Click here to submit your presentation for FES-East if you have not already done so.

The deadline for submitting your presentation for Symposium West is May 30, 2008.  Click here to submit your presentation for FES-West if you have not already done so.  FES-West speakers are reminded that you still must register to attend the West conference in additional to submitting your presentation.

 

Additional Speaker Presentation Instructions for Symposium EAST

All presentations shall be formatted with the most up-to-date Microsoft Office Product software. 

Presentations shall be delivered two weeks in advance of the event no later than May 16, 2008. Electronic submissions can be done from the link above.  You may also send them groundmail in the form of CD's or memory sticks to Michelle Coley who will ensure they are loaded on the conference laptops.    If you prefer to use traditional mail options, please use Fed-Ex or UPS to guarantee its arrival on time. Please note: All bulk printed material shall be mailed at the earliest, if necessary, to the Natcher Conference Center by Friday, May 30, 2008. Natcher will accept deliveries up to 2 days prior to the event for bulky printed materials or other large volumes of materials that CANNOT be transported with you on the flight or the train. Also, please make sure you put the symposium name and the presenter's name on every box sent. The mailing address for the Natcher Conference Center is as follows:

If you intend on mailing your laptop with all of the presentations already loaded, each presentation should be clearly identified with all contact information, name, telephone number and email address and any special instructions for the A/V tech.

 

The Natcher Center does not have Vugraph capabilities.  The presentations will be loaded for each speaker for the breakout sessions.  The main auditorium has a laptop built into the podium for anyone that has to speak from the podium in the auditorium.  If speakers want to bring their own laptops for their breakout presentations they may do so, but don't have to.
