Oceanographic Data Sets

for NMNH Invertebrate Collections

Welcome to National Museum of Natural History, Department of Invertebrate Zoology's Oceanographic Data Sets for NMNH Invertebrate Collections. The site currently houses station data and original cruise logs from the research vessels Albatross and Blake. Data for each vessel may be viewed by station number or searched by collecting date. Records may also be selected by expedition name. All data sets can be downloaded as Excel, delimited text or XML files. Original station data reports and vessel cruise logs are viewable as PDF files. Invertebrate specimens associated with the oceanographic station data are queriable on the IZ Collections Catalog.
