Worker Notification Program

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is a federal agency mandated to conduct research to prevent illnesses and injuries in the workplace. NIOSH notifies workers and other stakeholders about the findings of these research studies. The tables below are indexes to the notification materials listed by type of work exposure and the industry group. Click on any of the links to get information about the worker notification. Additional notification materials will be added to this website as new studies are completed. If you would like to speak to someone or send a message about the NIOSH Worker Notification Program, please click on “Send an Email."

If you would like to be alerted via email when a new set of worker notification materials is posted to the NIOSH Worker Notification Program Web site, please click on "Join the LISTSERV."

NOTICE: These are NIOSH Archive Documents, and may not represent current NIOSH Policy. They are presented here as historical content, for research and review purposes only. This collection of Worker Notification Materials and any recommendations made herein are relevant for specific worker populations. The results do not predict risk for a given individual. The results may not be universally applicable.
