Public Hunting at Saylorville Lake
Public hunting is permitted on the Saylorville Lake Project, provided all State of Iowa and Iowa Department of Natural Resources rules and regulations are adhered to. Special hunts, like the special deer/goose hunt are co-sponsored hunting events approved by the IADNR and implemented by the Army Corps of Engineers and Polk County Conservation Board. No other special hunts are permitted on Saylorville Lake unless approved by the State of Iowa. To find out more use the links below.
