Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC)Access: Publicly available resource The FLC brings laboratories together with potential users of government-developed technologies. Organized in 1974 and formally chartered by the Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 to promote and strengthen technology transfer nationwide, the FLC has more than 700 major federal laboratories and centers and their parent departments and agencies as members.
Many government-issued technical reports are available through the Library of Congress Technical Reports and Standards Unit (TRS) . Others are in the general collections of the Library and can be found by searching the LC online catalog.
