Academy of American Poets
Dedicated to fostering an appreciation of poetry and supporting American poets at all stages of their career, the Academy's Website offers essays and interviews about poetry, biographies, full-text and some audio clips of poems, information about poetry awards, and more.

Poetry Society of America
Fosters an appreciation of poetry through awards and national readings, lectures, and programs. PSA Resources link to presses, literary publications and organizations, conferences, and contests.

pmpoetry:Patrick Martin's Poetry Resource
Extensive links to Websites of contemporary poets and famous older poets, organizations, publishers, poetry collections and online magazines, and forums for posting and discussing poetry.

Representative Poetry Online
From the University of Toronto, an extensive listing of poets and poetry including biographical information, full-text of works with notes or explications, timeline, calendar, bibliographies, glossary of poetic terms, and links to other poetry resources.

American Verse Project
The University of Michigan Humanities Text Initiative (HTI) is assembling an electronic archive of volumes of American poetry. The archive is primarily 19th century poetry with a sampling from the 18th and 20th centuries.

Electronic Poetry Center
The EPC is a central gateway to resources in electronic poetry and poetics at the University at Buffalo, the University of Pennsylvania's PennSound, UBU web, and on the Web at large. Includes a browsable index of e-poetry authors and links to other poets' pages on the Web, subject links to poetry magazines, presses, electronic text archives, and literary manuscript collections.

Poetry 180
Produced by Former Poet Laureate of the United States, Billy Collins, Poetry 180 offers a poem per each school day for high school students so that poetry can become a welcome addition to daily life.

Modern American Poetry
An online journal and multimedia companion to the Anthology of Modern American Poetry (Oxford University Press, 2000) edited by Cary Nelson. Biographical information, bibliographies, critical essays and articles, and interviews are included on more than 150 poets.

Locating Criticism on Individual Poems
A finding guide for print and subscription electronic resources available at many academic libraries, as well as a few websites for poetry criticism.
